Remi sits up while Mika lies on the floor. Remi has a sour expression, and says, "If I had the chance to talk to a younger version of me, I'd just wanna vent. I just want them to listen to me, validate me. I just wanna be heard. I don't think I have any advice that'd be worth giving outside shit like lottery numbers." while Mika lies on the floor, staring up at the ceiling.

Mika sits up with a start, and happily exclaims, "You know it's really unlikely for those lottery numbers to work unless it's rigged, right?"

Remi looks away from Mika, unamused, not saying anything.

"You speaking to a past version of yourself is basically impossible," Mika continues, "But you could find yourself talking to a person very similar to you from a universe where everything's the same as this one just 10 years later than ours."

Mika throws her arms out to the sides and wiggles her hands with joy, smiling very cheerfully. She goes on, "And the amazing thing about that is that even if all previous events happened exactly as ours did, it is still WAY more likely the lottery rolls differently!
