Quest Threads!

NewRem is supposed to be a game series. Although I have failed at delivering any playable finished video games, I have released a few pieces of interactive fiction! Content includes words typed by random people on the internet that aren't me and as such I must advise that this content isn't recommended for anybody who can be offended by anything! You should definitely be wary about anything that has ever touched 4chan!! Consider everything on this page R-Rated.

• Suggestibility Quest! - plus4chan /dw/
  • One shot with teaser for a second part that never happened.
  • Very not canon.
  • 18+. It's not pornographic in nature but there's like one scene. I was in high school and didn't care.
  • An experimental quest thread about playing a little creature that gives subtle suggestions to people. This is my first real quest thread!
• Pokemon Quest - 4chan's /vp/
  • Unfinished but pretty long. Had no real end in sight when it petered out.
  • Pokemon Quest is a quasi-canonical adventure starring Heather running around different neighborhoods of Celestia playing a game on her PDA and playing with monsters. It's pretty funny.
• Monster Quest! - Vizzedboard
  • Abandoned.
  • Follow Alpso the wonder dog in this parrellel to the Monster 24 hour comic!
  • Didn't last too long but it's fun and had some cute ideas. I was learning to play with HTML and CSS because the website allowed you to just put raw HTML into your text field!
• Heather Quest! - 4chan's /qa/
  • One-shot thread!
  • Heather attempts to navigate her house! Not as easy as it sounds, let me tell you! This thread was great. /qa/ is a weird board on 4chan where you complain about stuff to deaf ears of moderators who don't check the board. It's mostly populated by people upset that they were banned for spamming boards with content those boards don't like, and trolls trying to get a rise out of people. 4chan has a paranoia about it that leads a lot of people to think there are a lot of secret cabals hanging around, manipulating things from the shadows like conspiracy theorists think the illuminati or whatever controls governments. I thought it'd be funny to treat /qa/ like the q and a stand for QUESTS and ADVENTURES, so I made this little quest. It lasted about a month and was pretty funny! It has a sequel! Sort of.
  • This quest is considered Pseudo-Canon. It doesn't violate any existing lore or stories. You can place exactly where it would go in the timeline.
• Worby Quest! - 4chan's /qa/
  • One-shot thread!
  • After the success of Heather Quest, I got a lot of messages on tumblr from people who wanted me to do another quest so I did! This time we follow the teacher of Heather's class at school, Miss Alyssa Worby! There's quite a bit of NewRem lore here, and some of your favorite characters make appearances!
  • This quest is pseudo-canon. It's like... a joke but also... it doesn't violate any existing canon. It's not referenced in other works though.
• Shiné Quest! - TGChan
  • Abandoned.
  • Shiné navigates her office environment where she works in the R&D department of the Evangate White Mages! I put a lot of effort into the artwork here!
  • Considered Canon to the Flavor Text webcomic, and the NewRem setting.
• NRG "Eliza Quest!" - Discord
  • Abandoned.
  • Eliza goes to her first day of college only to find nobody there except for some guy dressed up like a Ghostbuster... or a Janitor? Either way, the mystery will be forever unanswered.
    • Unless you wanna ask me and then I'll answer the mystery.
